For the most part it's good but dont you think the kick is a bit too loud? You can see it too in the waveform.

Update:
That's true but I recommend comparing it to other tracks as being the listener and creator isn't always the best to judge your own track. Give a pro of same genre a listen. You might end up feeling it is too loud. Just an observation though. It's cool if you don't agree. ☺ good luck in competition.

ShockblastDeluxe responds:

As far as I can hear, the kick sounds just fine. The kicks generally have to be loud so you can hear the lower frequencies enough.

I don't know if I'll try to fix it.

Thanks, though!

Troisynx is a phenomenal person. She makes me feel like I have a purpose. Keep being you.

A lot of achievements! That's pretty cool. How long did it take you to start achieving your goals. I had very minor achievements so far, and currently I am trying to expand it but I understand it takes time.

I have to find some of your work. If you hadn't done this interview, I wouldn't have heard of you! So thanks for doing it because you have my best interest. Continue your work and live a happy life! I assume you're living your dream job right now. Also, have a great day. :)

ATheatricalSongBird responds:

Thanks a bunch, and sorry for the late response!
I've done this for a VERY SCATTERED 8ish years. Two years as a hobby, two years off, then officially went part-time for a couple of years, then I went full-time as of this year.

Games can take years to release after you provide the voiceover. I'm in a great game called Folk Tale, but I was cast in 2013 from memory, and it is STILL in early access! It gets there in time, so don't give up hope!

Thank you again, if you're interested, you can find my work at: www.aimeesmithva.com

Enjoy your voiceover journey!

This is amazing. The quality is incredible, and like others said. There was room for every single instrument. It sounds like live music on my $1 earbuds. You have no idea on how well you mixed this and mastered it. :)

The composition was great too.

LunyAlex responds:

Thank you! I'm humbled by your comments on the mixing as it's something I've tried to improve in my production templates for this track.

Thanks again!

Square Enix needs to higher your ass.
I loved this one. <3

So far my two fave musicians on NG is you and troisynx.

Pheanir responds:

That's really nice of you to say, I'm happy you enjoy my music! β™₯

This one wasn't that bad. The guitar did have a few issues with timing but it wasn't like your others. You really do need to work on singing. I think the problem ks that you're trying to sound like a rock singer but it makes you sound really weird...

johnnyq1233 responds:

No! I know I'm not a rock star.. These songs are recorded at the moment and off the cuff...
If i like what has gone down I'll try and work on it. But, for the most of this stuff, it is ideas and possibilities that are here.

So same issues. The timing is all over the place. Too much high frequency but an EQ could fix that. Before playing the next chord count to four. Again use a mentronome and play the next chord after the fourth tick. It will improve you.

The singing was not very good. Things you could work on, pitch, timing, and tone. Practice on that. 😌 I can admire you for playing chords on the guitar but you have no rhythm. It's completely off evey measure. To be honest and I don't really like sounding this way but you really need to work on rhythm. Use a Metronome. You can Google it and google will pop up a web based one. Sorry for the bad review but this is completely honest.

That is OK if you don't like my stuff. This wasn't about my work but about yours. You may make up excuses, but it doesn't sound good. Sorry to say.

johnnyq1233 responds:

This is a bit of a rip on Led Zeppelin..lol
I'm not a big fan of them. The fat and loose drums and the bluesy and loose timings... well that is part of that genre.
I did check out the stuff you have put out!
Not impressed! AT ALL!

I heard this on music station on the discord server and they linkedme to you so I can favorite. I loved the composition. Vrry beautiful.❀

Pheanir responds:

Aww, thank you, that's really kind of you. I am glad you like it ~ β™ͺ

Sounds amazing. I feel a bit of dubstep vibes 3:50. I hope this goes far. :)
