To be honest, I feel like i am at Tom Nook's Cranny shop! I mean that in a good way because Animal Crossing had some groovy ass music. <3

Albe responds:

Yeah that's what the song's vibes were intended for at the beggining. Like if you were at some sort of friendly shop with fun stuff and whatnot. Glad you liked it <3

Hey, really nice job on this!

Thanks for the kind words! This is still a work in progress. I got it to a kind of "demo" level, but, still needs work. I hope to spend more time this year to getting my drumming skills up to where I can be more accurate and stable. Timing is everything and I know mine is on the rusty side..lol
But, perseverance will get me to where I want to go!
Eloy the ride! JQ

Major improvements! And this is just a live raw recording? The drums do go out of sync but it comes back. Not bad. The guitar rhythms and chords sounded on tempo and tuned. Congrats!

Thanks for the encouraging words!!! This is kind of raw unfinished tracks, but not live. I did these 1 take at a time and used the virtualizer to get a live feel. Yup, it's just me playing all the instruments...as always. lol
I did spend some time tuning and practicing before I started recording. I've also been working on my drum kit making adjustments and positioning, as well as creating a new kit for this type of music.
This piece was recorded in an 8'x12' bedroom with all the outputs going into the recorder and virtualizer, No mics !
Thanks again for your review...JQ

I see people vaping and rapping to this.

Just as I remember you. <3

0:20 I would personally just get rid of that chord.
Repeat the two chords in the beginning. It's fine to repeat things sometimes! In this case, most JRPGs start out with repetitive chord progressions at the start and then layers notes on top (same ones in order to avoid clashing) to make it more intense. I hope you understand what I mean.

Although, I would use a better piano. If you try humanizing the FL Studio Piano it still sounds fake. Try looking up piano sf2s, and if you find one to use download Sforzando to play them! :)

Things to add: I would add in an acoustic bass and a saxophone. But definitely use a bass. You don't just want a piano in jazz. They always have a bass.

0/5 Because theres too many christmas songs.

Just kidding.
