To be honest, I feel like i am at Tom Nook's Cranny shop! I mean that in a good way because Animal Crossing had some groovy ass music. <3

AlbeGian responds:

Yeah that's what the song's vibes were intended for at the beggining. Like if you were at some sort of friendly shop with fun stuff and whatnot. Glad you liked it <3

Hey, really nice job on this!

Thanks for the kind words! This is still a work in progress. I got it to a kind of "demo" level, but, still needs work. I hope to spend more time this year to getting my drumming skills up to where I can be more accurate and stable. Timing is everything and I know mine is on the rusty side..lol
But, perseverance will get me to where I want to go!
Eloy the ride! JQ

Major improvements! And this is just a live raw recording? The drums do go out of sync but it comes back. Not bad. The guitar rhythms and chords sounded on tempo and tuned. Congrats!

johnnyq1233 responds:

Thanks for the encouraging words!!! This is kind of raw unfinished tracks, but not live. I did these 1 take at a time and used the virtualizer to get a live feel. Yup, it's just me playing all the instruments...as always. lol
I did spend some time tuning and practicing before I started recording. I've also been working on my drum kit making adjustments and positioning, as well as creating a new kit for this type of music.
This piece was recorded in an 8'x12' bedroom with all the outputs going into the recorder and virtualizer, No mics !
Thanks again for your review...JQ

You suck at being terrible at music

AceMantra responds:

Id watch it.

zybor responds:

Will give you update once it'd be on Youtube.

Wow. Talent. You must be 70 years old.

zybor responds:

Thanks for the review.

I think you could have used a limiter on the kick. Hands up kicks are typically heavy, and very punchy. I think you have cool effects, but it's kind of empty for me. Why not add in some bell, pads, strings? Hands up typically carry those instead of only lead and bass. I think there could be more punchiness in the snares which could be done by limiting. The transitions are kind of random as they just end up stopping. A nice whitenoise or snare roll, with a reverse cymbal and reverb kick would have done better.

Nue22 responds:

Ah sweet, real advice, thank you.

Is this gonna be in a christmas movie?

Troisnyx responds:

I wish 😅

Excuse me get the fuck off Newgrounds. This is a goddamn threat because you shouldnt be here with that mothafukkin talent son. Square Enix I found the man that appeared missing. Hes right here.

AceMantra responds:

Haha thanks. I'm not sure how to respond to that.
